Sublingual Immunotheropy

In the last 10 years the oral method of allergens administration (by mouth) has been developed, theoretically proved, experimentally tested and clinically certified on larger groups of patients. It is used successfully today in the USA, Europe (France, Germany, Italy), Central Asia (Kazakhstan) and in other countries.

We modified the method of tablets treatment, finding an optimal solution in increasing doses of allergen and the duration of the course for each dose. In addition, there is a constant dose of immunomodulator in the tablets. This advanced technique is the result of a long clinical experience (over 40 years), performed by famous Kazakh scientist-allergist Moshkevich V.S., who is also M.D., Professor, Academician of the European Academy of Allergology. Tablets  “Antipollin ®” should be taken under the tongue  and held there until the complete resolution - within 10-15 minutes (sublingual method).

In France, Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan and other countries, scientists conducted comparative studies of the two most common methods of vaccine therapy: sublingual and subcutaneous (injection). It was found that the efficiency of both methods is about the same - 70-80% of good and excellent results. At the same time, the number of side - adverse reactions during sublingual therapy is much less, and it is more secure. In addition, home treatment by tablets is more convenient for patients than visiting allergy cabinet for subcutaneous introduction of allergens during 2 months.

The various authors established the advantages of oral vaccinotherapy techniques for pollinosis, when the scientific method of comparison of oral and injectable vaccinotherapy:

SUBLINGUAL METHOD ALLOWS THE PATIENTS TO HAVE TREATMENT AT THE HOME AND TO VISIT ALERGIST ONLY 1 TIME PER MONTH, OR TO CONTACT DOCTOR ON THE PHONE.

All this gives the right to recommend sublingual technique for the treatment of pollinosis. This technique has been used successfully for 15 years in Kazakhstan. “Burly” LLP started the series production of the tablets “Antipollin ®” for sublingual treatment of allergy.

However, it is often proceeded to treat pollinosis by old methods in Kazakhstan, making the vaccination by subcutaneous injection method, not informing the patient of the available modern cheaper and more convenient alternative. Due to the duration of visits to allergy cabinet and painful injections, some patients could not stand the “acupuncture” and do not complete the full course. People, who live in other towns, do lose the opportunity of treatment.

Often patients are unnecessarily prescribed the hormonal drugs that are only temporary relief with known side effects. Relief from its use comes in the short term, the duration of which is annually declining. Generally, treatment of pollinosis is more complex and continuous for patients who previously treated with hormonal drugs.

As per conclusion of the world's leading allergists, the treatment of pollinosis is available and indispensable, as timely not cured “pollinosis” led to the development of asthmatic disease.
